Kiss Me, I’m Irish!

I worked with Ms. Sarah, director of Williston School of Dance, last night to embroider 16 shirts for her Irish Step dance troupe, in preparation for their performance next weekend at Silver Springs amusement park. Here’s the link:

The occasion is the annual Ocala Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festival.

Check out the website and see if your clan will be represented. If not Irish, you can be a best supporting Irishman, Irishwoman, Scot, Celt, what-have-ye!  My grandmother was a Daugherty.

That will be a fabulous, fun event–but there’s even more. Bob Dylan is performing at the O’Connell Center Friday night. It’s the LSU [home] game in Gainesville Saturday. Our friend Bob is getting married in Orlando Saturday, then having the reception at the church across the street. All on our anniversary! We may just decide to run away to Parts Unknown to celebrate our wonderful year as an old married couple!

We knocked off 16 of these in about 3 hours! Ms. Sarah and I work together like a well-oiled assembly line, after having done 20 or so navy blue sweaters earlier this year for the troupe. She is so positive, confident, and sparkling about her art, the time went by in a blink!
